And the game is out!! :D A super epic sequel to Epic Battle Fantasy 2 by Matt Roszak is finally out of beta it's releasing on time!

I haven't played EBF3 yet, but since 2 awesome people spent months on it, it's gonna be, well... simply epic.
The game over song was my favorite :D

played the beta, it was awsome :D the music was far more fitting than i ever imangined when i found out matt was gonna made the 3rd :3

i just hope its not too large a file for newgrounds :/

Psssh. Damn. I played EBF3 just a few hours ago, all the soundtracks sound SOO into the game that it's just.. great!. Very nice! I love them all. Specially "Wings" and "You'll Never Guess This!"

I still find it hard to believe that most of the soundtrack to EBF3 is original - if that is truly the case, you've done an impressive job at capturing the catchy melodies and atmospheres of RPG epics from the first era of 3D RPGs.

It is all original. I tried to catch that feeling of the classic RPG's in the music that I wrote, however since Epic Battle Fantasy is a unique RPG all of it's own I also gave the music its own unique flavor that fit the game.

Honestly... You got me to sign up for a damn Newgrounds account just so I could praise you for the in-game music. That has to say something. (I mean, honestly, who would take the time to enter that verification code, and get on their e-mail if not for something truly EPIC. Amiright?)
Seriously, though: The game music was astounding to the point where through out all 14 hours of normal mode and the current 4 hours of Epic, I'm still enjoying the music. In fact, it's growing on me to the point where I hum it in the shower.
Picking favorites is extremely hard to do for the soundtrack.. But! I must give you many internets and props for Rave 2.0. Srsly. Amazing. Thanks for the great music~

Your work is Brilliant!!! They match 100% within the game content and battles. My favourites are:

Sisters of Snow Dissent
Wings
You'll Never Guess This!
Acruta Lao D'nor

and Heroes March which 100% matchs the final boss battle and adds some addrenaline. Indeed all the battles songs adds addrenaline to the casting of the player skills and powers. Supreme madness. Your work deserves true merit.

Played the game on Newgrounds I have to say I was really astounded by the quality of the work you did on the music! Do you happen to have the piano score for "That We Have Lost and Forgotten"? It was so pretty I want to learn to play piano just to play it -_-

The music on this game is awesome! I'm a composer myself using sibelius and logic. Just out of curiosity...what programs do you use???

Fruity Loops 9.0

Sibelius is an excellent program for notation, but it lacks the tools for music production.

I have had such a scary, horrible day today. I haven't felt so emotionally wracked in years, perhaps a decade.

So, now that I'm finally able to sit down and breathe, I absently browse online. For some reason I've decided to visit Newgrounds. Clicking on a random flash title, I think maybe it would help take my mind off things. Deep down, I didn't believe it would help.

I clicked the link for Epic Battle Fantasy 3. After the exciting, fast-paced intro, the title screen fades into view. And then...

Such
Beautiful
Music
Begins to play.

Soothing, sad, mystical music.
And, very unexpectedly, I start to feel calmer. More comfortable.

That was 30 minutes ago. I haven't yet left the title screen. It's all I need at the moment.
