A wonderful song.

BlazingDragon has deprived me of much to really critique without sounding repetitive. But yes, I would say improve on the things that he noted and the song would be even better than it already is. The only thing I guess I could add is that maybe add a bridge, and also maybe make the ending not so.............. simple?
Great job nonetheless. Keep it up!

Yes, BlazingDragon's reviews are always amazingly helpful. I appreciate your additional comments, though, and I may edit this in the future. Glad you liked it!

Very good except for the vocals.

I really liked this song and the music part of it. The lyrics are very beautiful and the music fits very well.
The only critique I have about this is the vocals. In my honest opinion, it could have been done better. At certain times the microphone seemed to not handle the volume very well. I have that problem too so I understand the frustration.
The other critique I have is with your voice itself. Partially it's the song itself, since the song has such a big range for the melody. That probably made it really hard for you to sing. It sounds as if you strained your voice to sing it. I guess the only way to work around that is to practice singing.
Great job nonetheless. I look forward to more from you.

Sycross responds:

Thanks! Yea, some parts of this song are definitely a little high for me to sing... and I didnt have much time to record this, so it was kind of rushed... I'm going to try to rerecord it by Friday, but I doubt that's going to happen.

I appreciate your comments.

Really nicely done!

I would have to say indeed that this isn't as sad as I think you may have been aiming for. However it is a good background theme song to say... a devastated battle ground littered with the fallen and a lone warrior standing among them. I guess it isn't so much sad, but it has a melancholic sound to it. A kind of feeling of regret of what had just perspired.
I think it's really well orchestrated. Keep up the good work.

Thanks, glad to see you're reviewing a lot of my songs! I'll try and return the favor when I have time... :P.

Very good.

For not having heard the original, this is a very good remix. The first verse is the best part of the song in my opinion, and it's perfect that it's the only part you heard. As a result your remix is focused solely on that one motif and I like how you expanded on it.
Although I do think that you should listen to the entire original song. It's a very good song too. And I'd also like to hear what kind of remix you'll make after listening to the entire thing.
Great job!

OMG DJ NATE IS TEH QUEER! :P

See! You're not quite gay. XD
Though honestly, I don't see where this can go as far as becoming a full song. The bass is rather annoying at times.
But none theless, love all your songs.
Keep up the good work.
And have fun messing around now and then. You'll have everyone loving you... even the guys. :P

I really like this!

It's a very good trance song! And it really fits my taste.
The only thing I can say is that it seems that at certain points that the volume is too high? At least it sounds so on my earphones.
Otherwise I absolutely love it.

PS That and, you just made it onto my favorite artists list.

Sakura is appropriate.

It's pretty good. Sakura is well used because it is the national tree of Japan. But not without good reason. It is also very pretty and magnificent when it blooms with its lovely pink petals.
This song is really beautiful as well. And I can certainly see it in a movie where the Sakura tree is killed and represents the death of a beautiful girl.
Or something like that. I have a wild imagination. ^_^;
Keep up the good work.

Not bad really.

I think the bad quality of the microphone gives it a kind of quality as if it was some kind of last voice diary entry after such destruction. The only thing I would change about this is lowering the voice volume so that it doesn't clip so much. Otherwise it is fairly good.
Good job.

Very well done.

This theme has always been one of my favorites in the game. And the way you did this song brings back the entire story of Terra back to my mind. I think it's rather lovely. Soft and gentle to get across Terra's story while maintaining that march-like beat in the background.
I noticed the mixing error also. It just sounded a bit odd when the drums sound like they were right in front of you, almost as if you were playing them yourself. But it is alright overall. ^_^
Great work!

Happy bouncing!

That's what this song makes me think of! Makes me want to bounce up and down rather happily. The loop can actually be improved by removing the last second of silence at the end and it will be perfect.
Wonderful hoppy boppy dance theme!
Great work!

Thanks so much! And trust me I tried to remove it but it WONT GO AWAY. Haha.
