Thank you! ^_^

Thank you for this song! :D I like it very much.
The crescendo at the end of the song wasn't too loud at all. I think it was alright completely. I'm downloading this and adding it to my collection! :D
Thank you again very much.

Hey, no problem, Glad I could do a fan a favour :)

Very good remix!

I'm quite a fan of this song from the Castlevania series, so it's wonderful to see a remix of it here. I think that the synths are fine, for my tastes at least, although at some parts, such as 2:08-2:18, the guitar accompaniment should be turned up a bit and the drums quieted a tad bit.
But overall, a wonderful song!
I'm wondering how'd a remix of Condemned Tower from Dawn of Sorrow would sound like if you made one. ^_~
Good job!

DJ-HappyFace responds:

I'll considder that a request :)

Thanks for the tips, and glad you enjoyed the song for the most part lol.

Now, let's see if I can find a good base for the song.

Quite interesting.

I've read all the books, and this song does really convey the feeling quite well. Being hidden under Lincoln Island, and finally going down with the Nautilus, this would sound like something he would listen to.
Maybe... if you could make an organ version of it, that'd be perfect. Then it could be like Captain Nemo himself playing it.
Lovely song.

hehe I will try it =)

thank you very much ^-^

Happy Birthday!! :D

Happy Birthday!
And what a lovely gift you've given NG!
This song is lovely catchy, and the main melody has a certain jump to it.
I would most certainly like to hear this worked out into a full song. It would be wonderful to listen to.
I hope you have a wonderful birthday and a sweet 16th!

thank you! ^_^

Umm...?

I don't see how this proves Bush's stupidity.
But...
All politics aside.
The drums seem to be taking the focus of this song, as I can hear them a lot better than the piano and synths that come up. Aside from that, you really only used on sample of Bush's voice. I think if you toned down the drums, and raised the volume on the piano and melody, this song would do much much better.
The only part where it gets better is after 3:35 til 3:48, when it actually has a standing out sound. But otherwise, it's quite repetitive, with the last four seconds being unnecessary silence.
Try again?

This is wonderful!

I love this remix of the song! I think it has good energy to it, and the vocal samples that you used mixed well with the song. Wonderful job! I'll go ahead and listen to the other versions as well.

Not bad.

The synth sounded a little bit subdued. It didn't stand out enough. I like your use of wave sounds, however I think in order to make the Rath (wrath I'm assuming?) convincing, perhaps find some sounds of waves crashing? The waves sound very peaceful. Although the entirety of the song does sound quite peaceful. The only problem that I can see with the song is that it does get a little repetitive. I'm sure if you remixed this a little bit, and added maybe another section to it, it would be so much better.
Keep trying!

Thank you for the advice!

Wow this is amazing.

This is wonderful. It has the melody of that fast paced original, however it has an over all calm and peaceful tone. It sounded like something that would fit right in a Final Fantasy game. Truly, this is wonderful, and although the orchestration isn't the most complex, its simplicity brings out the melody wonderfully.
Very well arranged and very well done!

Wonderful harmonic resonance to my ears.

Okay.... the title of this review might not actually make any sense... but that's what I thought when I heard the song.
I played Sonny a long while back, and I liked this song, and the entire game. This song has a feeling of epicness along with a wonderful melody. It also has a good energy to it without needing to use drums.
Wonderfully done.

DavidOrr responds:

I tried to hold back the drums on this one to bring forward the main melody, glad you liked that!

Thanks for the review!

Mmm...

I like the concept. It's been tried before lots of times too. And it's nice that you were able to fit in all the Pokemon's in the song.... the only thing I have with it is that it seems to lack energy. It doesn't seem to flow very well and sounds a little tripped at some points. Also your voice isn't bad, but I'd think that it'd be better if the accompaniment was more varied, (i.e. have a chorus, then refrain, then chorus again). Another thing that could help is maybe have a bit more drums? I'm not sure if that will definitely improve it, but it can't hurt to try it out a bit.
Maybe another remix of this will be much better.... for now it can still use work.
I look forward to the next remix.

sonicmega responds:

It's important to remember that the song WAS NOT created by me, and was a direct import of a previously published Nintendo song (which has been credited of course). I'll take this to mean, however, that I could have used a better song, which I will happily note.

Thanks for the pointers!
