Great song!

I think this song has a very good potential! It's very well written, and you have good voices for the song!
Wonderful job!

Ooh wonderful!

I guess I have heard better things on top 30. But of the things that have appeared on top 30, this is definitely worth a spot there. ^_^
It lacks a bit of melody, except near the end. But it's alright. I think your other songs are way better.
And what's wrong with arpeggios? I love them.
Anyways, keep up the good work!

Ethalyn responds:

Thanks! Well yes honestly i think the same, doesn't REALLY deserve it's spot =P Yeah maybe it lacks a melody, i just figured this to be pure club/trance song, im thinking of making it longer, like 7 mins or something just for fun! And no arp's are good! It's just kinda lazy to use preset ones that's what i'm saying x)

THanks for the review! Glad you liked it =D!

Oriental?

It's a nice concept that you have. The song so far is far from complete, and hence I'm rating it that way.
The only thing I have to say is that... this isn't quite Oriental perse. Oriental tends to mean the eastern Asian countries. This actually sounds more Indian than Oriental. Mainly I think it's because you used a Sitar for your instrument and your beat is similar to Indian beats. Oriental sounds would use something around a Koto or a string instrument, and have half steps here and there.
Not a bad concept, but could use a lot of work.

Ha! I'm in love with you tonight! ^_~

Such a wonderful remix of the song. And one that actually has vocals in it. Even though the pitch of the vocals is significantly lower than the original, it isn't a bad thing. Tonight, I'll be raving to this. ^_^

Raving through the night!!!

Good good good.

I would have to say that this one is much better than the other version. Or the other two. >_> When I first listened to it there were three versions uploaded and I found this one the best of the three, but it seems one vanished.
Anyways, very wonderful job.

syphonmax responds:

Yeah I got rid of one and uploaded that with the very first one, the vanished one is the first one I made lol, I didn't see the point in having three :P oh and I hated the first ever mix I made of this song. ^_^

And thanks =]

Oooh spoooky.

It's very nice! And also very befitting of a halloween theme. Spooky in a certain extent, kind of reminds me of Nightmare Before Christmas. Somewhat.
I think the only comment I have would be, perhaps you can expand on it a bit. That is go with the main theme, and use perhaps flute and have a lighter section of the song where it isn't so heavy with the brass and have perhaps just a flute and piano playing the main theme.
The other thing you could do is make a loop! It sounds like it would make for a very good loop.
Great job nonetheless!

Pretty good.

I would say that this song is overwhelmingly Nate's style out of all of the others. There is a hint of B0UNC3 in there also. I suppose it is the way you did the main melody that makes it sound that way.
The song is really well done. It keeps a fast pace without letting it up.
Another thing, I've read most of the previous reviews before writing this. I would have to agree that perhaps this isn't the most professionally mastered piece submitted on Newgrounds, yet it still has its merits as a song in and of itself. I don't know too much about mastering myself, but perhaps if you did consider some of the suggestions and did a remastered version of this, I am sure it would turn out even better. I can certainly imagine improvement on top of this, and I am certainly sure that you are capable of improving on it.
In any case, keep up the good work!

I am capable of improving, and I will! ^.~

Thanks for the review, waaaay better review than all those bad low score reviews ^^

Thank you!

Excellent for a Dance performance!

I can really imagine this as being excellent for a dance group performance. The song carries a good rhythm and energy to it.
The intro to the song makes for an good entrance scene for the dancers to come in. The section that goes from 0:46 to 1:00 makes for a good interlude between intense dance sequences and is a slight relief to the high energy. The part that I liked was 1:41 to 1:55, where there is a good dramatic pause.
This is a wonderful song overall. Great job and well done!

YES! I succeeded! Im glad you can picture that =D!

Thanks for the awesome review!

My favorite out of yours so far!

Hahaha! I can definitely hear the techno in it. It could have been made into a techno song certainly, but I think the way it turned out is wonderful! It has good energy and keeps its pace very well. I think the techno backlay for it was very good for the song over all.
A wonderfully done song and I really really loved listening to this one!
This one earned itself a download and you a place on my favorite artists list.

Thank you! I always appreciate a positive review. Lol, I now have four users who have me as one of their favorites... :/. I need to start collecting more fans.

I hear a song.

Improvisation is good. And what you have here is a very good sample of that. Though I think this can be made into a good song. Just take the parts that stand out from improvisation and make those into a song.
Hmm... maybe if I have time, I'll see if I can make a coherent song out of this improvisation you have here. I can definitely hear a song out of it. It's like a block of marble that is half carved into a statue roughly, and all it needs is the right vision and carving to bring it all out.

-HFX ^_^

Sycross responds:

Yea, that's actually exactly what I was thinking... Right now the song is VERY rough (mostly due to my utter lack of piano skills), but I might make it into an actual charted-out song if inspiration ever hits... Btw, feel free to mess around with this improv. I'd be very interested to hear what you could turn this into.
