[[LK] Lost (WiP)]

Certainly an improvement.

The song is certainly an improvement from the last time I checked on your songs. It's nice to see that you're making good progress.
Let's see. It's a nice tune. The main problem I have with the song is the piano. The guitar also sounds weird, but to me my focus is the piano. It is similar to a piano, but it's way too synthesized to sound acoustic. I'd recommend using a different VSTi.
I'd like to hear the finished product.

I really like this. :D It's got a great melody and everything. :D
It's not perfect though....
First off, the piano does need a little better equalizing. It sounds a bit too bright at some points... and the echo really rings.
The part from 0:38 to 0:47 is really nice. I like that touch. The only thing is that I would think that you should ameliorate it a little more and add more notes so that it runs faster.
Overall, a great song. A little more work is needed though. But big kudo's to you for making such a great piano song. (Hahaha accordian! XD)
I might want to try remaking this song. :3

As typical of you, this song is really well done. :D I like the way you progressed into it, and then went about with the melody. Very well done overall.

Really nice melody that you have there!

The melody is a nice catchy one, and something that I didn't find repetitive at all. The song sounds nicely done. The way the melodic line keeps going upwards gives it a rather uplifting feeling, befitting of the title.

It's alright.

The song isn't too bad. It gets repetitive since it's just one theme. I think it's best if you could expand on that.
The panning between left and right is rather extreme, I think it's best if they're only panned slightly instead of all the way.
The main thing I have to critique on is your piano. It doesn't sound very good. Do you use FL Keys?
Either way, keep working on it. :D

Let's see. The clap that came in, it was too strong. It sounds fine later on after the lead synth comes in. But when it's only drums it's too dominating.
Other than that, I would like to see you finish this. :D

You are definitely talented.

A rather immaculate performance sung. The first verse is especially my favorite, since I took music theory and all they gave us were some really bad songs to practice with. But what you have there is a perfect example of the intervals.
Very good and very well sung.

You do deserve a top 5 for this song. If not that, a top 30. This is really very good quality. Could you please add me to MSN? I rather admire your singing.

This song is really good. It borderlines on classical, which makes it my cup of tea.

The violin I found a bit odd.... it's a bit slow on the attack. I think it's alright to have a slow attack on the violin for this sort of song. But the attack is just a tiny bit too long, and I think you could use more release for the violin too.

But other than that, a great well done song. My respects to you.

I'll just go into detail here.
The introduction starts of very nicely fast walking bass. The kick that enters soon afterwards is pretty nice. It's rather overpowering though at first, but you get used to it. The piano is nice. I know you tried to keep it from sounding FL Key'ish. And you did a good job. Personally I could tell that it was FL Keys still, but that's probably because I have a sharp ear for piano. :3 Great job though.
Personally I find this song rather repetitive, but that goes for the Tiesto songs. They sound great, yet they're repetitive as hell. At least the ones that I heard.
Anyways, great job! I hope you win the Core contest! Moreso than my piece.

Ya, damn FL Keys, I hate em since I was told about 4Front Piano Module lol.

It is repetitive, yet so is the original, and a bunch of other remixes, so it's hard to make a repetitive song non-repetitive, although the opposite is a lot easier to do. :]

Great job! I can certainly imagine this in a Madness themed movie.
It also sounds like it could be used in a video game. It's got a 8-bit'ish sound with that synth. :D
